If you want to be able to control your lights with your voice, you will need an Echo or Home device. If you just want to control your lights with your smartphone, you do not need a smart home bridge. However, we recommend choosing a smart home bridge that is compatible with your Echo or Home device so that you can add voice control in the future if you change your mind.

Measuring and Cutting Your Lights

Most led strip lights come in standard lengths, but sometimes you need a custom size. Whether you’re trying to fit your lights into a specific space or you want to reduce waste, it’s easy to cut your strip lights to size at home. With a few simple tools, you can measure and cut your led strip lights to create the perfect custom length for your needs.

Here’s what you’ll need:
-Measuring tape
-Scissors or a sharp knife
-A straight edge (optional)

Instructions:
