What You’ll Need
For this particular project, you’ll need a few supplies before you get started. First, make sure you have all the necessary power supplies and light bulbs. You’ll also need some basic wiring supplies, like electrical tape and wire cutters/strippers. Finally, it’s helpful to have a voltmeter on hand to test your work as you go along.
Step One: Cut the Power
Turn off the power to the circuit you will be working on at the main breaker box. You will be cutting into wires, so it is important that there is no electricity running through them.
Step Two: remove the light bulbs and reflectors from the track lights. This will give you better access to the wires.
Step Three: Cut the wire that connects the track lights to the power source with wire cutters. This wire is usually black.
Step Four: Splice in a new length of wire to connect the track lights together. Make sure that this new length of wire is long enough to reach from one end of the line of track lights to the other. Use wire strippers to remove about a half inch of insulation from each end of the new length of wire.
Step Five: twist each exposed end of wire around one of the exposed wires on the track light fixture. Secure each connection with a wire nut.
Step Six: reattach the light bulbs and reflectors to the track lights and turn on power at the main breaker box. Test your work by turning on each track light in succession.
Step Two: Wire the Lights
Now that you have your lights installed, it’s time to wire them all together. This is a relatively simple process, but it’s important to make sure that all of the wires are connected properly before you turn on the power.
Start by identifying the “hot” wire, which is the black wire in most cases. This is the wire that will carry the electrical current to your lights. The other wires are known as “neutral” wires and they will return the current back to the power source.
Next, use a pair of Wire strippers to remove about ½ inch of insulation from the end of each wire. Once you have exposed the bare metal, twist each wire around a connector screw clockwise until it is tight. Make sure that all of the hot wires are connected to the same screw, and that all of the neutral wires are connected to another screw.
Finally, connect each light fixture to the circuit by twisting the appropriate wires around its connector screws. Once again, make sure that all of the hot wires are connected to the same screw, and that all of your neutral wires are connected to another screw.
Once all of your fixtures are wired properly, turn on the power and test your lights by flippingswitch. If everything is working properly, you should see all of your lights come on at once.
Step Three: Connect the Wires
Now that all of the track lights are installed, it’s time to connect the wires. If you are wiring multiple track lights together, you will need to do this in order to get power to all of the lights.
Start by connecting the black wire from one track light to the black wire of the next track light. Do this for each track light, until all of the black wires areconnected together. Then, do the same thing with the white wires.
Finally, twist a wire connector onto each set of black and white wires. This will ensure that the connection is secure and won’t come loose over time.
Step Four: Mount the Lights
Now that the wiring is complete, you can mount the lights to the track. Start by inserting the lights into the sockets, then hand-tighten the set screws to hold them in place. Once all of the lights are seated in the track, use a screwdriver or Allen wrench to tighten the screws fully.
Step Five: Test the Lights
Once you have the lights wired together, it is important to test them before you install them to ensure that they are working properly. To do this, simply turn on the power to the circuit and flip the switch that controls the track lights. If all of the lights come on, then you have wired them correctly. If not, then you will need to go back and check your wiring to see where the problem lies.
Tips and Warnings
-If you are using LED track lights for the first time, make sure to familiarize yourself with the various parts of the light as well as how to properly install and wire them.
-In most cases, you will need to purchase a connector kit in order to wire multiple track lights together.
-When connecting multiple track lights together, make sure that the power is off before you begin wiring.
-Be sure to consult an electrician if you have any questions or concerns about wiring multiple track lights together.

Sources and Citations
If you’re looking to wire multiple Lithonia led track lights together, you’ll need to start by considering the number of tracks, the wattage each track is rated for, and the total number of lights you’ll be using. You’ll also need to take into account any other items that may be drawing power from the same circuit, such as appliances or other electronics. Once you have all of this information, you can then begin wiring your track lights together.
